Job Title: Manufacturing / Pinpoint Engineer
Location: Decatur, Illinois - Onsite
Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing / Pinpoint Engineer to support onsite manufacturing operations in Decatur, IL. This role requires a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer with deep hands-on experience and strong proficiency using the Pinpoint application to drive process improvements, resolve manufacturing issues, and improve quality, throughput, and cost performance.
The ideal candidate brings extensive shop-floor experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve complex manufacturing "pinpoints" in a high-volume industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 9+ years of experience as a working Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
  • Several years of hands-on experience using the Pinpoint application
  • Strong experience in manufacturing process analysis and problem-solving
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis using structured methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.)
  • Extensive shop-floor experience supporting daily production
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to work onsite in Decatur, IL
