Electrical Project Engineer - Industrial Power Systems

EN Engineering LLC

Milford, OH • Remote

$90K - $100K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 16 days ago

Job description

Join our team as a Project Engineer, where you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering innovative engineering solutions. At ENTRUST Solutions Group, we’re proud to be an industry leader in engineering and consulting services—helping modernize, protect, and strengthen critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and seeing their designs come to life in real-world industrial environments.

We’re seeking an Electrical Project Engineer with experience in low to medium voltage power systems, particularly within industrial or plant settings. You’ll lead detailed design efforts across complex projects, performing engineering calculations and power system studies (arc flash, short circuit, coordination) while working closely with designers to produce high-quality drawing packages. Your background in industrial facilities will be key as you design around existing systems, site constraints, and operational needs.

In addition to technical design, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including civil/structural, protection & controls, and automation—to deliver cohesive solutions. You’ll also engage with clients through site visits and project discussions, while having opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. We value collaboration and responsiveness, so we ask our remote team members to be available when in-office presence is needed—such as for client meetings, team events, or training sessions. This role may also require occasional travel for fieldwork or site visits depending on the project need.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and flexible work schedules.
  • This position pays between $90,000 and $100,000 annually and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with electrical modeling and simulation tools (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower)
  • Experience in one or more industries such as refining, chemical/petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
