Job description


The DevOps Engineer has expertise in Azure environments, is adept at using Terraform for infrastructure as code, and is knowledgeable in Azure DevOps practices. This role collaborates with software development and IT teams to enhance our SaaS offerings, focusing on automation, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities


•    Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Azure.
•    Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software.
•    Automate processes and deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and other Azure scripting languages.
•    Ensure virtual networking configurations, and database administration are optimized for security and performance.
•    Employ security best practices throughout our Azure infrastructure to safeguard information and services.
•    Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
•    Document and refine processes to ensure smooth execution of deployments and updates.
•    Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve system issues and improve the product lifecycle.
 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
•    Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a SaaS environment, specifically using Azure.
•    Strong experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
•    Knowledge of Azure DevOps, virtual networking, database administration, and Azure security practices.
•    Proficiency in at least one Azure scripting language (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.).
•    Understanding of software development life cycles and system administration.
•    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
