What is a DevOps C2C?

A DevOps C2C (Corp-to-Corp) job refers to a contract position where a candidate is employed by one company and provides services to a client through a contractual agreement between corporations. In this model, the candidate typically works on automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability. C2C arrangements are common for independent consultants or staffing agency hires. These roles generally require strong expertise in DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the DevOps C2C position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a DevOps C2C professional, you need a robust understanding of automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and scripting languages, typically supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, and certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate are highly valued. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and adaptability are important soft skills for this role. These skills ensure seamless development-to-operations workflows, efficient system management, and successful collaboration in complex technical environments.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a DevOps C2C?

As a DevOps C2C consultant or contractor, your daily responsibilities often include managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You’ll collaborate closely with both development and IT operations teams to ensure seamless code releases and maintain high availability of systems. Additionally, you may be tasked with implementing security best practices and documenting processes for ongoing maintenance. Contract roles often require rapid onboarding and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing bottlenecks, making flexibility and clear communication essential for success.

This onsite team supports a fast-paced production environment where safety, quality, and delivery are critical. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will work directly with production, engineering, quality, operations, and health and safety partners to resolve floor-level issues, improve processes, and keep documentation and tooling aligned with operational needs.

  • Fully onsite schedule in Henderson, Colorado.
  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in production support, process improvement, tooling validation, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional project execution.
  • Exposure to structured manufacturing problem-solving and project-management practices.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Provide real-time production floor support by resolving process, tooling, documentation, safety, and quality issues.

  • Confirm that instructions are accurate and usable by reviewing them directly with operators on the production floor.
  • Identify tooling or equipment improvements that increase process consistency, repeatability, and efficiency.
  • Perform validation testing for new or modified tools before production use.
  • Support controlled process changes through the appropriate change-management and documentation procedures.
  • Independently execute small to medium-sized improvement projects with defined deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Use tools such as Excel, time studies, 5 Whys, cross-functional meetings, and structured root-cause analysis.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and coordinate improvements with Operations, Quality Engineering, and Health, Safety, and Environment teams.

  • Follow all required safety procedures, including personal protective equipment and lockout/tagout practices.

Do You Bring Proven Success In Manufacturing Process Support?

  • Strong safety and quality discipline in an industrial environment.
  • Willingness and ability to become lockout/tagout authorized.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with production operators, engineers, quality teams, safety professionals, and leadership.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving production environment.
  • Must be local to the Henderson, Colorado area and able to work onsite five days per week.
