The BSA collaborates daily with software engineers and business stakeholders to define requirements, design application functionality, and oversee development through structured project-management tools and methodologies. They apply strong knowledge of standard business practices, ensuring that software solutions align with operational workflows, compliance needs, and enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis - Gather, validate, and document business requirements through direct engagement with SMEs.

  • 3 or more years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or enterprise application support.
  • Strong understanding of standard business practices in one or more functional areas (manufacturing, finance, engineering, operations, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work within DevOps environments and collaborate with software engineers.

  • Experience with project-management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with SMEs, developers, and leadership.
