General Summary:
This role is to support expanding SoC Architecture team with modeling of various physical and performance aspects of SoC operation.
Successful candidate will demonstrate experience in following domains:
  • Hands-on with MatLab, SimuLink or similar tools
  • Hands-on with SPICE simulations at component and device level
  • Modeling of electrical systems and circuits, at component and transistor level
  • Modeling of thermal systems
  • Modeling of Power Delivery circuits (PMIC and PDN)
  • Digital design at RTL, gate-level and transistor level
  • Modeling of SoC traffic patterns
  • Automation of simulations and exploration space
  • Ability to work under supervision and independently
  • Excellent comprehension, organization, communication and presentation skills

Desired Educational Background:
  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Thermal Engineering, Applied Mathematics
  • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Computer Architecture, Queueing Theory is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$115,600.00 - $173,400.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
