Part-Time Professional Development Consultant (K-12, Remote-Friendly)

Center for Teacher Effectiveness

Ketchum, ID • Remote

$1.0K/day

Part-time

Posted 9 days ago

Job description

Teaching adults is the rare job that lets a great educator multiply. One strong training day touches thirty teachers, and through them, a few thousand students.

The Center for Teacher Effectiveness has been doing exactly that since 1993. More than 400,000 educators across all 50 states have completed our programs, and demand from schools keeps outpacing our trainer roster. We are adding part-time consultants nationwide.

The work:

  • Deliver our research-based professional development to PK-12 schools, both public and private
  • Present from complete, polished materials we hand you on day one
  • Choose your own training dates around your existing commitments
  • Stay in your current position if you have one; many of our consultants do

The pay:

Compensation is commission based rather than hourly. A full training day never earns less than $1,000, and experienced consultants frequently earn well beyond that figure. Annual income depends on how often you choose to train.

The fit:

  • Current or retired teachers, principals, counselors, professors, or staff developers
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field
  • Presence, warmth, and genuine skill in front of adult audiences
