Familiarity with case management software, electronic health records, and knowledge of federal and state disability regulations is essential. Strong communication, empathy, organization, and advocacy skills help build trust with clients and coordinate services effectively. These skills are vital for ensuring individuals with developmental disabilities receive appropriate resources and support to improve their quality of life.
