Summary
Lead critical environmental operations that protect our communities, support regulatory compliance, and keep our facility running responsibly and efficiently. As a Wastewater Manager, you will oversee the operation of the wastewater treatment facility while ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. You will also manage the potable water system for the ZCR Complex, guiding daily operations, supporting system reliability, and maintaining the highest standards for water quality and environmental stewardship. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable, safety focused leader who is passionate about environmental compliance, operational excellence, and building strong teams that keep essential systems performing at their best.
The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $133,000 per year, plus an annual bonus based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the wastewater and potable system staff to include hiring, training, and developing the staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Ensure safe working conditions for all associates.
  • Manage the wastewater facility and potable water system to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor all activities related to wastewater treatment and ensure parts, supplies, chemicals etc. are available.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are completed on all equipment to minimize impact on operational requirements.
  • Maintain required records and logs as required.
  • Compile and submit regulatory reports as required.
  • Perform all work within the safety guidelines established by local, state and federal agencies as well as company policies.
  • Required to travel to remote Agribusiness facilities for meetings and to perform work.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor and other Agribusiness management.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Understanding of standard software applications.
  • Valid State Driver's License.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental studies.
  • State Wastewater Class 5A and 3G Potable Water Treatment license.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
  • Able to move freely throughout the G&O Division facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0-150 feet), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 degrees Fahrenheit), noise (50-100 db.), humidity (0-100%), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
