Job Description

Follow standard operation procedures and good manufacturing practices to perform various processes, potentially using small tools, to manufacture medical devices in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork

  • Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed

  • Communicate effectively/positively with co-workers

  • Enter batch information into database

  • Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in the manufacturing process

  • Perform manufacturing operations with few errors (demonstrates high quality work)

  • Flexibility to perform various operations throughout the shift

  • Ability to act as trainer for other operators

  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert for main manufacturing processes (as listed below)

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3 years of medical device manufacturing or operating experience required.

  • Five years manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Highly skilled in six main manufacturing processes preferred.

  • Demonstrate excellence and leadership in at least three main manufacturing process (subject matter expert) preferred. Main manufacturing processes are defined as: Pad Printing, Heat bonding, UV Curing, Laser welding, Catheter inspection, RF Welding, HLH, Vacuum lamination, Balloon blowing, Catheter annealing, PVA spraying, Split die lamination, Dip coating.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic math and English skills, both written and verbal, are required

  • Basic computer and software skills, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
