26-27 Beat the Streets DC Development & Operations VISTA
Wrestling to Beat the Streets DC is dedicated to improving youth development by building character, discipline, and self-esteem through the sport of wrestling. Our goal is to strengthen the wrestling culture in Washington, DC by establishing more middle, high school, and year-round programs. We are looking for a Development and Financial Operations VISTA to enhance fundraising strategies, strengthen partnerships, and develop tools and systems to measure impact. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, detail-oriented, and has strong communication and math skills. If you are passionate about youth development, this is a great fit for you!
Member Duties : The Development and Financial Operations VISTA at Beat the Streets DC will be part of the 26-27 Coach Across America national cohort of 64 members. The VISTA will: identify prospective donors, grants, and sponsorships aligned with the BTSDC mission; conduct outreach to potential community partners, sponsors, and local businesses; develop marketing materials and partnership proposals to present to stakeholders; refine systems for logging and tracking fundraising activities and progress; develop tools for measuring the impact of donor contributions and campaign success; and enhance our social media and email campaign schedule.
