**Exciting Opportunity: Cath Lab Manager** **Job Description:** - **Lead the Way:** As a Cath Lab Manager, youโ€™ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the dynamic operations of our cutting-edge Cath Lab, including EP, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac DAR. - **Drive Efficiency:** Take charge of patient throughput, staff performance, and ensure every component of cath lab flow and capacity operates seamlessly. - **Collaborate Effectively:** Partner with the Cardiac Cath Supervisor and Lead Tech to ensure smooth daily operations. - **Supervise Patient Flow:** Ensure efficient movement of patients through the CDAR, recovery room, and procedural areas. - **Problem Solving:** Identify and resolve shift issues effectively, maintaining a high standard of care. - **Optimize Utilization:** Develop and maintain processes that enhance Cath Lab utilization and procedural efficiency. - **Compliance Monitoring:** Keep standards of practice aligned with internal and external regulatory bodies, including: - Joint Commission - NJS and Federal Codes (e.g., DOH, OSHA) - **Legal Adherence:** Ensure compliance with legal standards related to: - Risk Management - Patient Bill of Rights - **Indicator Creation:** Design and monitor unit-based indicators, focusing on standards development, continuing education, and risk management. - **Promote Best Practices:** Execute outcomes-based practice and guide staff in its application to ensure top-tier patient care. **Key Requirements:** - **Experience:** - 5 years in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. - 10 years in clinical cardiology. - **Critical Care Expertise:** At least 3 years of experience in critical care, clinical cardiology, interventional radiology, or closely-related fields. - **Technical Skills:** - Current endovascular/cardiac catheterization experience. - Proficient in handling specific procedures such as: - Right heart cath, Left heart cath - Permanent Pacemakers, PCI, Loop Recorders - Peripheral procedures, TEEs, Permacath insertions - Fistulograms, Venograms, Port insertions - IVC filters, TCAR, EKOS, EVAR - **Education:** - Minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Nursing; Masterโ€™s preferred. - **Certifications:** - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License - AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification - AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - **Skills:** - Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to maintain effective working relationships. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
