For more than 60 years, we've partnered with children and families to provide life-changing developmental, therapeutic, and support services. We're seeking a strategic, mission-driven Director of Operations to help lead our organization and strengthen our impact in the community.
The Director of Operations provides leadership and oversight for Joya's clinical programs and services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with the Executive Director and Management Team, this role helps translate strategy into action while developing leaders, improving systems, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical programs and services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop departmental Leads.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support organizational growth, strategic initiatives, and service expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and funding requirements.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Quality, and Program leaders to support effective operations.
  • Serve as a member of the Management Team and Acting Director when designated.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, operations, or related settings.
  • Minimum 5 years managing teams, departments, or organizational functions.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership, organizational improvement, and change management.
  • Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and organizational resources.
