Proposals Development Associate II (Labs) - Remote, US

As a Proposals Development Associate II at ICON, you will the development of client proposals, contributing to the success of our clinical trial projects, and advance innovative treatments and therapies in healthcare.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for proposal development deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the preparation and development of client proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and scope of work documents.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, project management, and finance, to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and completeness.
  • Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to understand client requirements, competitive landscape, and market trends, informing proposal development strategies.
  • Managing proposal process workflows, including tracking proposal status, coordinating review cycles, and ensuring adherence to internal processes and timelines.
  • Maintaining proposal templates, databases, and other tools to support efficient and effective proposal development and management.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant proposal development experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in proposal development, clinical research, or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with proposal management software or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
