For more than 30 years, our Management Development Associateprogram has developed our future leaders.As a Management Development Associate,you willembark on a personal and professional development experience a classroomsimplycan'toffer. 

As aSafetyManagement Development Associate at Nestle Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we'll explore quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with safety. You'lllearn quickly that safety is our number one priority and we want our associatesto gohome the same way they came in.Throughout your time in our MDA program, you will gainexperienceinimplementing risk assessment processes, making safety improvement recommendations, and delivering comprehensive safetytrainingsto new hires and contractors.

  • Implement andutilizeassessment and risk prediction processes to ensure effective identification, communication, and mitigation of workplace hazards 

  • Make recommendations for safety improvements throughout the factory 

  • Provide effective safety training that includes safety orientation programs for new hires and contractors 

  • Organize, coordinate, and conduct training for the factory safety committee 

  • Model and enforce compliance of internally and externally mandated safety regulations and procedures 

  • Serve as a resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or related disciplineattainedor expected byJune2027 

  • Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestle Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program 

  • You will start your rotation for this Safety MDA at one of the following Nestle Purina factories: Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa
