$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Learning and Development Associate
The Learning & Development Associate role supports the design, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of learning and talent development programs that enhance the capabilities of Endeavor Health team members and leaders. Working closely with Learning & Development Manager, Partners, subject matter experts, HR partners, and business leaders, this role provides operational support while progressively developing skills in instructional design, facilitation, stakeholder consultation, and learning strategy. This position serves as an entry point into the Learning & Development Partner career path and is expected to assume increasing ownership of learning programs over time.
Position Highlights:

  • Location: Arlington Heights
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
  • Required Travel: travel throughout the system will be required for orientation and trainings

What you will do:
Learning Program Coordination & Administration
  • Coordinate logistics for instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs, including scheduling, registration, communications, materials, technology, and classroom setup.
  • Maintain learning records, attendance, evaluations, and reporting within the learning management system.
  • Prepare participant materials, facilitator resources, job aids, and program documentation.
  • Support onboarding, leadership development, professional development, and other talent programs through effective coordination and administrative support.
  • Assist with learning communications, websites, and resource management.
  • Support the EMS Room Reservation System for NCH

Learning Design & Development
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development Partners and subject matter experts to develop engaging learning materials using adult learning principles.
  • Assist in creating facilitator guides, participant workbooks, digital learning, job aids, and reinforcement resources.
  • Update and maintain learning content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Research learning trends and best practices to support continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Learning & Development Partners, HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, and business leaders to support learning initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback and learning metrics.
  • Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and professional development throughout the organization.

Program Delivery & Facilitation
  • Co-facilitate and progressively lead instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
  • Support participant engagement and create positive learning experiences.
  • Assist in coordinating guest speakers, panels, and learning activities.
  • Develop facilitation skills through mentoring, observation, and increasing ownership of learning sessions.

What you will need:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or related field, required
  • Certification: n/a
  • Experience:
    • 1-3+ years experience providing administrative support for training, onboarding, orientation, or talent development programs, required
    • Healthcare experience preferred.
    • Experience with training program delivery or facilitation strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design concepts.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.
    • Interest in facilitation, instructional design, and organizational learning.
