Job Description:

Opportunity to work in Microchip's Planning Division as a full time Intern with Production Control. Candidates will be fully integrated in with the Corporate Planning Production Control Team and Involved in:

1. Intern will assist the Production Control Team in managing expedites for Microchip parts across multiple Business Units. - Includes Interfacing with WFM, Operations, and other Functional Groups to gather and share information to aid in decision making.

2. Intern will assist in the analysis of existing Production Control Reports to help enhance and standardize for efficiency and efficacy.

3. Intern will assist in several daily/weekly tasks and projects including execution of CI's and preparation of the weekly Starts File.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Currently working towards a Supply Chain Degree or field related.
  • Computer Analytical Skills a Plus (Ex: Excel, Access)
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have good people skills and great attitude.
This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
