The Programmer Analyst will work closely with business leaders, functional teams, and information technology partners to understand reporting requirements and translate them into accurate, reliable, and actionable business intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Oracle BI Publisher, along with strong SQL development skills. Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) is highly desirable.

This is an individual-contributor position suited for a technically capable reporting professional who can independently manage assignments, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support reporting solutions throughout their full lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts using Oracle reporting technologies.

Build and enhance solutions using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, and Oracle BI Publisher.

Meet with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, reporting needs, key performance indicators, and data requirements.

Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications and scalable analytics solutions.

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries used for reporting, data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

Develop dashboards and reports that present business information in a clear, accurate, and actionable format.

Create Oracle BI Publisher data models, layouts, templates, bursting configurations, and scheduled report processes.

Develop and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, filters, calculated fields, and subject‑area reporting.

Support existing OBIEE reports and dashboards while assisting with modernization or migration initiatives when needed.

Validate report results against source systems and business expectations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and resolve reporting or data‑related issues.

Maintain appropriate report security, access controls, and data visibility based on organizational requirements.

Support scheduled reports, production reporting processes, system updates, enhancements, and release‑related testing.

Partner with functional teams across areas such as finance, human resources, recruiting, supply chain, operations, and other business functions.

Document report requirements, technical designs, data mappings, testing results, deployment procedures, and support instructions.

Assist users with report interpretation, troubleshooting, and effective use of Oracle analytics tools.

Monitor report performance and improve queries, data models, or report designs when performance issues arise.

Participate in project meetings, testing activities, system implementations, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Follow established development, change‑management, documentation, data‑governance, and information‑security standards.

Keep current with Oracle reporting capabilities, platform updates, and business intelligence best practices.

  • Deliver accurate reports and dashboards that help business teams make informed decisions.
  • Develop stable, maintainable solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements.
  • Build productive relationships with business stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Diagnose reporting and data issues efficiently and communicate findings clearly.
