Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) Location: Hybrid, Texas Employment: Permanent or initial six-month contract The opportunity Curently looking for an experienced, software-focused DevOps Engineer. You will work closely with software developers to improve application build, testing, release, and deployment processes. The organization operates across cloud and on-premises environments, with Microsoft Azure as its current priority. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines Automate software builds, testing, releases, and deployments Support cloud-hosted and on-premises applications Manage containers and virtualized environments Implement Infrastructure as Code Develop automation using Python or Go Integrate security and vulnerability testing into delivery pipelines Monitor system performance, availability, and security Produce testing, vulnerability, dependency, and observability reports Collaborate with software engineering and infrastructure teams Required experience 7+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or related experience Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience CI/CD pipeline development and management Software-development and deployment processes Python or Go scripting Containers and Infrastructure as Code Systems administration and troubleshooting Strong communication and problem-solving skills Desirable experience Multi-cloud environments Automated testing Application-security tooling Configuration-management tools Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical systems Due to customer and program requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
