Job Description 

Senior Programmer/Analyst responsibilities include but not limited to: 

Design, program, test, implement, document and maintain computing applications. Lead efforts to analyze, gather, evaluate and document end user requirements. Work with System and/or Technical Architects, UX Designer and Business SME to design systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs. Write and compile complex code and database objects. Lead efforts to design, develop, test and deploy complex computing code and software applications. Conduct analysis and produce IT deliverables in support of IT plans and strategies. Modify or upgrade applications to maintain software functionality. Identify and resolve programming or application architecture problems. Review system performance and identify and recommend improvements. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents highly complex programs. 

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise level Java web applications 

9+ years of experience in software engineering Expert level hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. 

Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.) 

Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software Well versed in emerging web technologies and responsive web design. 

Experience with utilizing responsive web design technologies such as Bootstrap framework, HTML5 

Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. 

Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives Designs
