Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with extensive experience in printed circuit board (PCB) testing to join our engineering team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, validating PCB functionality, and ensuring product quality and reliability. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on testing skills, deep understanding of PCB design and electronics, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on PCBs and electronic assemblies
  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test fixtures/jigs for PCB validation
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshooting at the component and board level
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment to perform testing
  • Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation to support test activities
  • Document test results, identify failure trends, and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to drive improvements
  • Assist in the design and development of automated test systems and scripts for PCB evaluation
  • Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and configuration updates
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal quality requirements, and safety protocols
