The M365 Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of M365 engineers and developers in the delivery of enterprise-wide services and solutions. • Serve as an escalation point for both DHS and technical staff, removing blockers and guiding resolution efforts.
  • Act as liaison to DHS customers and program functional leads, ensuring clear communication and aligned expectations.
  • Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and milestone achievement; maintain accurate documentation and provide routine updates.
  • Ensure all DHS-defined governance, compliance, and project standards are consistently implemented.
  • Engage directly with end users, stakeholders, and process owners to document business needs and validate completed deliverables.
  • Oversee quality of architectural artifacts and project-related documentation within your scope.
  • Exhibit proactive customer-focused behavior, providing timely updates and anticipating stakeholder needs.

Level Description
  • Manages experienced professionals who work independently and handle complex assignments.

  • Contributes measurable impact to operational plans, process improvements, and team performance.
  • May manage projects and processes within a defined budget; may contribute to budget planning.

  • Advanced understanding of enterprise IT environments and M365 service delivery.
  • Typically holds a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant leadership experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Ability to obtain DHS EOD Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supervising an M365 engineering or development team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years working with Microsoft platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff across business, technical, and management levels.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:
