POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will serve as the critical link between our software engineering team and real-world deployment environments. You will execute, monitor, and troubleshoot software systems in active warehouse and industrial settings, ensuring seamless sensor deployments and high-quality execution across field operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Execute software front-ends (GUI and command-line interfaces) in field warehouse environments
โ€ข Troubleshoot software execution issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
โ€ข Collaborate closely with the broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis and continuous improvement
โ€ข Manage and monitor the quality of software execution in real-time during deployments
โ€ข Deploy and configure arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings
โ€ข Unpack, assemble, configure, disassemble, and transport technical equipment to and from field sites
โ€ข Maintain clear, accurate documentation of deployments, issues, and resolutions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข 4+ years of experience in a relevant technical field role
โ€ข Willingness and ability to travel to field sites as required
โ€ข Basic Python scripting ability for automation or diagnostics
โ€ข Proficiency with Linux, Bash, and/or Zsh environments
โ€ข Strong hands-on ability to unpack, assemble, disassemble, and transport technical equipment
โ€ข Demonstrated documentation skills - able to produce clear, thorough technical records
โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills with comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
โ€ข Effective communicator - able to relay technical findings to both field and remote engineering teams
