Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Sunrise, FL

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

Client seeking a Java Developer in Sunrise, FL. Join the team migrating Oracle DB business rule logic into a new CIS environment. The position involves back-end microservice development to support enterprise portal functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Java 11 microservices using Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Security, Batch, and Transaction Management
  • Design and maintain REST and SOAP APIs with JSON/XML payloads
  • Implement Oracle database rule logic and SQL within service layers
  • Integrate OAuth tokens for secure communication
  • Deploy and maintain services on application servers (JBoss, Tomcat) in cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
  • Utilize build tools (Maven), CI/CD (Jenkins), version control, and bug tracking (JIRA)
  • Follow Agile development practices and participate in iterative sprint cycles
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Java software development experience, especially backend and integration services
  • Proficiency in Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring ecosystem, REST/SOAP
  • Strong SQL skills and experience embedding DB logic into code
