Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health (Full-Time)

Location: Tucson

Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Schedule: Fixed 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, and/or Weekends based on unit needs). Must be flexible for available shifts.

Rotation: No rotation required

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience in crisis, inpatient, and/or residential behavioral health to join a mission-driven team in Tucson, AZ.

These full-time, direct-hire opportunities provide long-term stability, structured scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced behavioral health environments and are passionate about supporting individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises.

The Tucson location is also hiring Residential Behavioral Health RNs for both day and night 12-hour shifts. Candidates with residential experience are strongly preferred for those units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care in inpatient, crisis, or residential behavioral health settings

  • Support detoxification services and assist with crisis stabilization

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop individualized care plans

  • Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with community resources

  • Maintain a safe, trauma-informed, and therapeutic environment

  • Accurately document assessments, care, and interventions in EMR systems

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

  • Active Arizona RN license or compact state license (required)

  • Current BLS certification (required)

  • Experience in crisis, inpatient, and/or residential behavioral health

  • (Unit-dependent; residential experience preferred for residential roles)

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills

  • Open to experienced RNs and motivated new graduates with a strong interest in behavioral health
