Job description

Summary:

In this role, you would be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles as well as communicating effectively with sales staff and other departments to ensure productivity within the department while following Dealership specifications and safety standards.

Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager

Job Duties:
  • Wash, clean, wax, sand, buff and polish vehicles.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products, applicators, and cleaning devices while following safety instructions.
  • Maintain showroom and keep stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
  • Detail and prep new vehicles
  • Work with rental and service department to provide services for guests.
  • Ensure proper stickers and tags are displayed on vehicles.
  • Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using chemical products. Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reporting any damage or safety concerns to management.
  • Vehicle inspection prior to delivery, including filling gas tank.
  • Maintain high performance levels while facing time deadlines or handling multiple tasks.
  • Winter plowing assistance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Prior detail experience is preferred but not required
