1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:Participants in the program will pursue prescribed training in preparation for an originating position within mortgage. Apprentices have the opportunity to participate in structured virtual training and rotational experiences throughout mortgage. During the 9-month program, each apprentice will: learn about mortgage and financial services through internal and external training and rotations, gaining skills within sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products, Secondary & Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Operations and, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank solutions.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Participate in rotations that allow for the practical application of certain concepts and behaviors referenced within the training to experience a diverse array of interactions.

2. Learn a wide range of concepts, programs, products, and services designed to prepare for an originating role.

3. Learn and demonstrate a proficiency in the following skill areas such as: salesmanship, effective communication, compliance and risk standards, organizations skills, financial acumen, client relationship management and marketing.

4. Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed agreed upon mortgage

production goals.

5. Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of the Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, as well

as secondary market investor's guidelines utilized by Truist.

6. Adhere to and comply fully with any and all Truist policies and procedures related to internal and external

rules and regulations, particularly those established by State and Federal law.

Required Qualifications:

5. Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies or equivalent financial sales or real estate experience Prior direct sales, business and/or customer service experience Solid knowledge of market area.
