Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Central Oregon. We are looking for a Detailer to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management. This is not an entry level position, pay for this position will be hourly or flat rate depending on experience.

Job duties will include washing, polishing, waxing all new and used vehicles, vacuuming and shampooing vehicle interiors, cleaning and polishing vehicle glass, cleaning engine compartments, touching up chipped services and paint imperfections, chemically treating tires, vinyl, and other surfaces as needed, and documenting all work completed to Kendall and manufacture guidelines.


At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is required to apply. Required schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, weekend or after-hours work may be available depending on work available.


Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.

At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is required to apply. Candidate must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, have a good driving record and valid driver license.
