Event Field Staff/ Lead Staff/Luggage Handlers - (PT) On-Call
Hello Florida, a Destination Management Company based in Orlando is HIRING for:
Event Staff, Lead Staff & Luggage Handlers in the Orlando tourist & convention center areas!
Job Details:
  • Job Type: Part-time - On Call.
  • Event Staff Pay Rate: $18.00 p/hour
  • Locations: Orlando area hotels/venues & Orlando International Airport

If you have OPEN availability Mon-Fri AND also on the weekends, you are proactive and willing to go above & beyond we want you to join our team! This is a great way to supplement your income by working early mornings, nights and/or weekends. Or work with us on a regular basis to earn overtime during the busy convention season which is right around the corner in Orlando!
We are currently recruiting and hiring Event & Lead Staff to work directly with our clients and guests. We are looking for hard working, friendly, positive and professional individuals to assist with a wide variety of roles that have OPEN availability with a minimum of 20hrs of week that includes very AM and late PM availability.
Position Overview:
  • These positions are part-time on-call and the hours available can vary greatly week to week. Only applicants with flexible and OPEN schedules are encouraged to apply.
  • Your daily job duties will occur in various report locations around the city and in the resort and theme park areas, Orlando International Airport, and will usually revolve around assisting our guests to & from arranged transportation.

Assignment Descriptions (but not limited to):
  • Event Staff/Shuttle Bus Transfers – Friendly, informative staff will be positioned at hotels, convention centers, theme parks, or other locations to assist guests with boarding transportation to ensure they arrive at their destination safely.

Typical Assignments Include:
  • Greet guests for Arrival & Departure transportation to/from the airport & area hotels.
  • Shuttle staff to manage Transportation to/from a specified destination.
  • Event & hospitality management.
  • Oversee Team building, Tours & Activities.
  • Luggage handlers to assist loading/unloading of guest luggage at hotels and at the airport (must be able to lift up to 60lbs).

Skills Required:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Open availability.
  • Fluent in English (read & speaking).

OVERVIEW:
Our Event Field/Lead Staff position is a position that engages with our clients in a friendly customer service manner and at times may require long shift hours, walking, standing, and working in the inclement outdoor weather.
