We are designers of storied places.

OBMI is a global master planning, architecture, and interior design practice shaping luxury resorts, boutique hotels, private residences, and mixed-use destinations around the world.

For more than 90 years, we have created places deeply rooted in land, culture, and emotion, balancing imagination, craft, and care.

  • Oversee the development of concepts into coordinated and high-quality design documentation
  • Participate in construction administration and site reviews to maintain design integrity
  • Support business development, proposals, competitions, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Represent OBMI externally at conferences, panels, and industry events
  • Drive innovation in sustainability, material exploration, design technology, and hospitality experiences

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a visionary and highly creative design leader with a passion for hospitality and destination design and the ability to craft meaningful architectural experiences at every scale.

You are:

  • Equipped with 15–17 years of professional architectural experience

  • A licensed or registered architect (AIA, RIBA, ARB, or equivalent preferred)
  • Experienced in hospitality, luxury resorts, mixed-use, and destination-driven developments
  • A highly creative conceptual thinker capable of transforming ideas into immersive, story-driven environments
  • Passionate about contextual design, cultural storytelling, and elevating the guest experience through architecture
  • Advanced in Revit and proficient in Rhino, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and related visualization tools
  • Experienced leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring emerging talent
  • Skilled in client presentations, storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and design leadership
  • Comfortable navigating large-scale, complex project environments and balancing creativity with technical and strategic considerations
  • Knowledgeable in sustainability, consultant coordination, and design implementation
  • An inspiring communicator and collaborative leader with strong business and relationship-building skills
