We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisationโ€™s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Location: Bay Area, CA

Contract Type: Independent Contractor / (Dispatch /Part-Time)

Start Date: Immediate

Eligibility: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Preferred

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location.

This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

โ— Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.

โ— Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

โ— Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.

โ— Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.

โ— Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.

โ— Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.

โ— Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.

โ— Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

Required Skills

โ— Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments

โ— Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement

โ— Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)

โ— Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues

โ— Ability to work independently in onsite support environments
