Desktop Support Technician 


Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 hrs/week
Location: Little Rock, AR 72202
 


Position Overview

Seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the IT Support team for a 6-month contract. The technician will support the hospital’s annual PC refresh project and assist with day-to-day desktop operations in a Windows environment.

This role is fully onsite and involves hands-on work with end-user systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hospital setting and providing exceptional technical support to staff and clinicians.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop and end-user support for PCs in a Windows environment.

  • Perform PC deployment, imaging, and user profile migration.

  • Inventory, track, and relocate PCs and related IT equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.

  • Collaborate with IT team members to support daily operations and scheduled projects.

  • Lift and move equipment weighing up to 30 lbs as needed.

  • Perform additional IT support duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience providing desktop or technical support.

  • Strong proficiency with Windows OS setup, deployment, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with PC imaging, configuration, and hardware installation.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
