Job description

Department: Labor & Delivery
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 6:30 am- 7 pm
Summary:
In a coordinated approach, the individual is responsible for assisting during/after surgery for cesarean sections, assisting patients with activities of daily living, use and care of special equipment in Labor and Delivery and assisting the RN/LPN in the care of antepartum/laboring/delivered patients. The Obstetrical Tech is responsible for certain clerical and reception duties. All duties are performed in a collaborative approach with unit personnel and under the direction and supervision of the RN.
Other information:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Or a graduate of Surgical Technology School
This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
