JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator reports to the Director of IT, Infrastructure & operations. The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing servers, networks, and related technology, as well as providing technical support to end-users.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Management:
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Perform monthly systems and server maintenance.
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of infrastructure systems.

Technical Support:
  • Perform troubleshooting & technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Provide tier 2 & 3 systems and software support for end-users as needed.

Project Management:
  • Participate in IT projects, including the planning, implementation, and rollout of new systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
  • Commitment to overseeing projects through completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
  • Must be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
