Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician II to join our IT team. You will provide technical support, focusing on desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity. You will utilize Enterprise Endpoint Management Systems for deployment and management. This role focuses strictly on end-user devices and does not include core network or server administration.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users.
Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets within established SLAs.
Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Utilize Enterprise Endpoint Management Systems for OS imaging and software deployment.
Maintain documentation of desktop hardware, software, and network configurations.
Maintain inventory of workstation hardware and software.
Assist with Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment and policies.
Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to resolve escalated issues.
Assist with the maintenance and administration of the desktop environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
2-3 years of experience in technical desktop support.
Experience managing and prioritizing queues within support ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite/Microsoft 365.
Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies.
Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and AD queries.

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $27-35/hour, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan.
