Job description

Desktop Deployment Technician – Delaware City, DE

TEKsystems is seeking Desktop Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale Windows device refresh project in the Delaware City area. This role is focused on deploying and upgrading desktop and laptop systems, imaging and configuring Windows 10/11 devices, performing hardware installations, migrating user equipment, and providing hands-on technical support to end users throughout the deployment process.

Responsibilities include building and imaging PCs, loading site-specific applications, setting up and replacing workstations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, validating system functionality, and ensuring a smooth transition for end users. Technicians will work with preconfigured deployment packages and follow established imaging and deployment procedures.

Qualified candidates should have experience with desktop deployments, Windows 10/11 support, imaging tools, hardware installations, device setup, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support. Experience with SCCM, Intune, or similar deployment technologies is preferred.

This is a fully onsite position with standard business hours. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial environment and be able to meet all site access requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
