A Desktop Engineering Manager oversees teams responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining desktop computing environments within an organization. They manage projects related to hardware and software upgrades, develop strategies for endpoint security, and ensure that desktop systems meet company standards for performance and reliability. Additionally, they collaborate with other IT departments, supervise support staff, and manage budgets for desktop infrastructure. Their role is critical in ensuring employees have reliable and secure access to the technology they need to perform their work effectively.
