Responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Engineer III with Class II gaming expertise to support the delivery, deployment, and ongoing operation of regulated gaming systems across a large and diverse customer base. This role is handson, highly collaborative, and critical to protecting customer commitments, regulatory compliance, and significant revenue streams. 

You will work closely with engineering, field services, operations, and customer teams to ensure systems are built, certified, deployed, and supported to the highest standards in regulated environments. 

This position is based in Reno, NV and requires regular onsite presence due to lab, system build, and validation responsibilities. 

What You'll Do 

  • Build, configure, and validate Class II gaming systems for certification, shipment, and deployment 
  • Support active customer deployments, install readiness, and live production environments 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve systemlevel issues, including escalations impacting customer operations 
  • Ensure compliance with Class II, jurisdictional, and tribal regulatory requirements 
  • Support certification readiness, audits, and regulatorfacing documentation activities 
  • Partner crossfunctionally with TPMs, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, and customerfacing teams 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Class II systems during deployments and production incidents 
  • Contribute to the stabilization and scaling of repeatable delivery and support processes 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience supporting complex, production systems
  • Handson experience with system build, deployment, and production support
  • Experience working in regulated or compliancedriven environments
  • Ability to work onsite in a lab environment with nonremote system dependencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Class II gaming systems
  • Experience supporting multisite deployments across multiple jurisdictions or tribal environments
  • Familiarity with certification, licensing, or regulatory review processes
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and crossteam collaboration skills

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $94,020 - $134,880 USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 
Base pay is one component of IGT's total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities. IGT also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and other wellness programs, subject to eligibility requirements.
