Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Allendale, MI
Compensation: Up to $26/hour
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), flexible schedule between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday | Fully onsite

They support a variety of clients, ranging from small businesses to individual clients, giving you the opportunity to work on diverse bookkeeping needs. Responsibilities

QuickBooks Online

  • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple clients
  • Process accounts receivable and match customer payments to invoices
  • Code accounts payable transactions for clients, including businesses that have recently acquired smaller entities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded

QuickBooks Desktop

  • Enter vendor activity, including invoices, checks, and payments
  • Post historical financial activity for a client
  • Input checks and deposits, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries as needed
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online

Preferred:

  • QuickBooks Desktop experience
  • Previous public accounting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Journal entry experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
