Position: Geospatial Solutions Architect
LCAT: Mid
Location: SOUTHCOM HQ, Doral, FL / Off-site
Office: U.S. SOUTHERN Command J2
Required clearance: No
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in geospatial architecture.
Description:
  • Design, implement, and maintain geospatial data visualization solutions that integrate with cloud-based platforms.
  • Develop operational dashboards that leverage GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms.
  • Optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics and cross-domain information sharing.
  • Oversee the integration of geospatial AI/ML models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with mission requirements.
  • Provide the Geospatial Data & Dashboard Integration Report, detailing geospatial system enhancements and user engagement metrics.
Required Experience:
  • Possess the knowledge and capability to design and implement geospatial visualization solutions, ensuring integration with operational dashboards and cloud-based platforms.
  • Must be proficient in GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and mapping services.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms, as well as integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geospatial AI/ML applications is required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Associate or GISP certification.
