Job description

Front Desk Agent

Join our team as a Front Desk Agent, where you'll be the friendly face and welcoming voice that sets the tone for our guests' stay. As the first point of contact, your impeccable customer service skills and attention to detail will create a memorable and positive experience, ensuring our guests feel valued from check-in to check-out.

  • Operate the Front Desk and provide warm, professional service throughout the guest journey.
  • Greet guests and efficiently complete check-in/check-out, room assignments, key handling, payments, and guest accounts.
  • Answer Front Desk calls and assist with guest questions, requests, concerns, and special accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, notes, and interactions in Opera PMS.
  • Coordinate guest requests and solutions with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
  • Provide general information about hotel amenities, dining, and local activities.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and follow through to resolution.
  • Assist with luggage and other Front Office duties as needed.
  • Maintain a polished, welcoming presence and follow all hotel and Front Office standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Front Desk, Front Office, Guest Services, or luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Warm, professional, and personable approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling payments, guest accounts, and confidential information.
  • Basic computer skills; Opera PMS experience is a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, and move throughout guest areas.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with assistance when needed.
    • Ability to push and pull luggage carts and equipment.
    • Ability to perform repetitive computer, phone, and desk-related tasks
