EI Designer II / Senior EI Designer

We specialize in electrical design and industrial control systems across diverse process and manufacturing industries, partnering with clients to deliver complete solutions from design through startup.
Our team works on a variety of projects involving DCS and PLC control systems—including platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, and Schneider Electric (Foxboro)—within a collaborative environment that values technical excellence, practical problem-solving, and hands-on project involvement.
Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designers to support the development of industrial control systems and electrical design documentation. This role is responsible for producing high-quality schematics, panel designs, and bills of material for process and manufacturing applications.


Key Responsibilities

- Develop electrical and instrumentation designs from I/O lists, P&IDs, and specifications

- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts

- Design PLC, DCS, and motor control circuits

- Produce complete fabrication-ready drawing packages

- Develop and maintain bills of material

- Coordinate with engineers for integrated design

- Support project execution including startup

- Provide support to manufacturing and panel assembly teams

- Travel as required (up to 10%)

Qualifications

EI Designer (Mid-Level)

- 2–5 years’ experience

- Proficiency in AutoCAD

- Knowledge of PLC systems, instrumentation, and motor controls
Senior EI Designer
- 5+ years’ experience

- Familiarity with UL 508A, NFPA 79, NEC

- Experience with panel fabrication or commissioning

Compensation & Salary Range

- EI Designer II: $70,000 – $85,000
- Senior EI Designer: $80,000 – $105,000

Actual compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
