Designer Producer information

What is a designer producer?

Designer Producers are professionals who bridge the gap between design and production teams, overseeing the creative process from concept to completion. They are responsible for ensuring that design concepts are executed efficiently and meet the project's objectives, timelines, and budgets. Designer Producers often coordinate with various stakeholders, manage resources, and solve problems that arise during the production process. Their role is essential in industries like advertising, gaming, film, and digital media, where both creative vision and practical execution are crucial. They combine creative thinking with project management skills to deliver high-quality results.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a designer producer?

To excel as a Designer Producer, you need a strong background in visual design, project management, and creative direction, often supported by a relevant degree or portfolio of work. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, project management tools like Asana or Trello, and experience with production workflows are typically required. Exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills help you coordinate teams and manage client expectations. These combined skills ensure projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy both creative and business objectives.

How does a designer producer balance creative vision with project deadlines and client expectations?

A Designer Producer acts as a bridge between creative teams and stakeholders, ensuring that design concepts align with client goals while staying on schedule. This can be challenging, as it often requires negotiating timelines, prioritizing tasks, and facilitating clear communication between designers, clients, and other departments. To succeed, Designer Producers use strong organizational skills and adaptability, managing resources efficiently and addressing feedback constructively to deliver high-quality results on time. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance into senior production or creative management positions.

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Work Arrangement: On-Site

Overview:

Tired of the LA hustle? Thinking about moving to Las Vegas? You'll be in good company—plenty of Californians have already made the move. If you're looking for a fresh start and a great career opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!

We are seeking a creative, high-energy, and multi-talented Social Media Producer & Graphic Designer to join our media team. This dual-focused role is perfect for a digital storyteller who can seamlessly blend community management with striking visual design.

In this role, you will be the creative force behind five of our distinct radio station brands, driving audience engagement through dynamic social content (video, graphics and written content). Additionally, you will serve as the go-to visual designer for our digital sales team, crafting high-impact marketing collateral, client pitch decks, and digital advertisements that drive revenue.

Audacy offers employees who are eligible for benefits with a comprehensive benefits package which includes: a health care coordinator, medical, dental, vision, mental health, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, disability, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, paid time off (sick, flex-time away/vacation days, personal, parental, volunteer), 401(k) retirement plan, legal assistance, life assistance program, identity theft protection, discounted home and auto insurance, and pet insurance.

What You'll Do:

Social Media Producer & Content Creation (Approx. 60%)

  • Multi-Account Management: Oversee, curate, and maintain the daily social media presence across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) for five unique radio station brands.
  • Content Production: Concept, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing multimedia content, with a heavy emphasis on short-form video (Reels, TikToks), on-air talent features, station events, and pop-culture trends.
  • Brand Voice & Engagement: Maintain the distinct personality and voice of each station while actively engaging with followers, listeners, and influencers to build community.
  • Analytics & Growth: Track performance metrics across all platforms, adjusting strategies based on data to optimize reach, engagement, and follower growth.

Graphic Design & Sales Support (Approx. 40%)

  • Digital Sales Collateral: Partner with the digital sales team to design compelling media kits, client pitch decks, and sponsorship presentations.
  • Ad & Event Creative: Create eye-catching digital display ads, website banners, concert/event flyers, and promotional graphics for station clients and internal marketing campaigns.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets comply with individual station brand guidelines while pushing the creative envelope.

Required & Preferred:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience managing social media accounts and designing assets, preferably within a media, entertainment, or agency environment.
  • Design Tools: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro/After Effects) and/or Canva.
  • Video Savvy: Strong mobile video shooting and editing skills (using CapCut, Premiere, or in-app tools) tailored for Reels and TikTok.
  • Chameleon-Like Creativity: Ability to switch gears quickly between a New/Talk station’s informational aesthetic, a pop station’s high-energy vibe, and a polished corporate sales deck.
  • Organization: Exceptional time-management skills to juggle the demands of 5 distinct social brands alongside incoming sales team requests.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
