The Role and What You'll Do:

The Motion Graphics Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and creating motion graphics elements and packages for UFC content across all media platforms, including television, web and social.

  • Conceptualizes, designs and executes graphics for broadcasts, studio programs and in venue content.
  • Designs motion graphics elements involving typography, photography, live video and 3D animation.
  • Creates customizable graphics templates and toolkits.
  • Builds and executes all visions for LED ribbons in arena and around Octagon with effective communication to all parties involved to ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Works closely with creative team, producers, venues, third parties and editors on various projects.
  • Executes visual effects, including compositing, motion tracking and rotoscoping.
  • Generate content for larger scale production agendas, including but not limited to, creation of graphic content in LED ribbons, wedges, pillars, etc. on large scale arenas and LED wall artwork on bigger weigh-ins/press conferences.
  • Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned.

You Have These:

  • Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience designing motion graphics.
  • Proficiency with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience with Cinema4D, AVID and Premier.
  • Demonstrate creative ability through strong motion and visual sensibilities with strong typography, color composition, visual composition and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and to execute on-time and on-task.
  • Strong self-starter and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of UFC and MMA is beneficial but not required.
  • Understanding of venue animation systems a plus.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, such as swing shift, graveyard shift, and weekends.
