JOB SUMMARY: The Landscape Designer (or Architect) is responsible for preparing detailed and creative landscape design solutions to suit a variety of site conditions and client preferences. The designers primary focus is on designing uniquely desirable living spaces.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or Associates degree in Landscape Design and/or Horticulture or Landscape Architecture

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape design/sales

  • Possess knowledge of Iowa horticulture

  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Dynacsape, UVision (or similar design programs) a plus

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record

  • Must possess expertise in landscape construction methods and materials

  • Must be able to create and read blueprints

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented and possess project management skills

  • Strong organization and planning skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
