Job Description:

The Dimensional design team synthesizes complex financial concepts into elegant and easy-to-digest communications. The Presentation Designer helps realize this vision for the firm's global program of high-end, dynamic virtual and in-person events. The ideal candidate has a passion for data visualization, an insatiable curiosity, and a tenacity for discovering the right design solution to bring content to life.

Working closely with subject matter experts to conceptualize new ideas, the Presentation Designer will apply design thinking and gestalt principles to create clear, engaging presentations that help our investment experts educate, train, and inform prospects and clients across the globe. This designer should be comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and working in a collaborative environment where designs are debated and refined as a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and design high-quality PowerPoint presentations that align with business goals and the needs of our sales and investment teams
  • Develop data visualizations and format numerical data, charts, text, and other visual graphic elements
  • Work closely within the broader Creative team and with other members of the Marketing department in the development of a design from start to finish
  • Create animations to illustrate complex concepts
  • Collaborate with speakers to create or improve their presentations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business in the development and maintenance of presentation materials
  • Work closely with project managers to coordinate the production of presentations as part of a full suite of event collateral
  • Maintain brand standards and consistency of message and design across presentation materials
  • Review work for accuracy of typing, layout, consistency, and format
  • Ensure proper prioritization, meet all established deadlines, and proactively resolve issues that may impact the success of active projects
Competencies Required:
  • Ability to translate and simplify complex data through information graphics and charts
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative iterating to solve creative problems
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and take both broad and narrow direction
  • Expert proficiency with: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite, and coding experience that focuses on data-driven data visualization (html/JavaScript/D3/JSON/Python)
  • Exceptional customer service skills that help support a teamwork mindset
  • Highly organized and results-oriented
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize independently based on workflow dependencies, competing business initiatives, and time constraints

Educational Background and Experience:

Bachelor's in Graphic design, communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field

Relevant Years of Experience:

Minimum three years of experience in marketing, communications, design, and/or advertising, with a focus on communication design and/or brand management
