Position overview
As a McDonald's Beverage Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages quickly and accurately while delivering outstanding customer service. This role focuses on beverage station operations, including McCafé beverages, shakes, and specialty drinks. You'll help ensure every drink meets McDonald's quality standards and enhances the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare McCafé beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, frappes, smoothies, and iced beverages
• Passionate about serving Gold Standard products to your guests
• Operate beverage equipment, including espresso machines, blenders, and drink dispensers
• Ensure beverages are prepared according to McDonald's quality and presentation standards
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, and beverage ingredients
• Provide friendly, fast service and communication with team members
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Understand that teamwork is key: Collaborate with your team to achieve goals and enjoy the work environment.
Qualifications for Success
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and consistency during high-volume service periods
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Prior food service or barista experience is a plus but not required.
