Organizes workload independently or in collaboration with the Project System Specialist to ensure timely, accurate, and profitable project turn around.

What will you do

Provides initial design setup for all projects as assigned for review by Project Systems Specialist.

How will you do it

  • Prepares complex system design drawings in collaboration with others, including floor plan layouts, interconnection drawings, and installation detail drawings. Prepares panel configuration layouts, riser diagrams, along with battery calculations and voltage drop calculations for assigned projects under the guidance of a project design specialist.

  • Facilitates the preparation of owner/operation manuals and record drawings using CAD software.

  • Checks accuracy of own work and ensures all time is properly coded to projects.

  • Collaborates with Project Systems Specialist to ensure clarity, completeness, conformity to standards/specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimension.

  • Maintains project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records and documentation per corporate policy.

  • Reviews deliverables prepared by less experienced CAD personnel for accuracy and completeness' as assigned.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associates Degreeor 2 years minimum experience.
  • Willingness to work in the office for training (Hybrid Role)
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2D
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
