Job description

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Design Engineer for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. This position will lead the design, test and release of new fan and blower coil products

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, manage and communicate project deliverables

  • Understand and comply with safety standard requirements

  • Initiate and lead design FMEAs, design reviews, and preproduction builds with multi-discipline development team

  • Manage the creation of internal and external design documentation including bill of materials and submittals

  • Support the collection and evaluation of product costs

  • Support the production of new and existing fan and blower coil products

  • Evaluate test data and implement appropriate actions

Qualifications:

  • Required: B.S in Engineering (emphasis in Mechanical or equivalent)

  • Strong computer-based skills and proficiency with 3d CAD and MS Office applications

  • Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry a plus

  • Understanding of design for manufacturability concepts

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change

  • Technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
