Job description

Compensation: $140,000-$160,000
Location: Hybrid - Omaha, NE or Remote - United States

The job:

As the Manager of Growth Operations at Buildertrend, you'll help shape how we grow, expand, and retain customer relationships at scale. Your work will improve the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that help our Growth team identify the right opportunities, make informed decisions, and execute with precision. You'll partner with leaders across the business to turn strategy into action - using data and operational excellence to drive new customer growth and stronger business outcomes. In your first six months, success means driving incremental operational improvements, being a strong partner to the business across key initiatives and helping teams apply first-principles thinking to prioritize and execute the 20% of work that drives 80% of the impact.

What you will do:

  • Design, implement, and improve upsell and cross-sell processes that create a seamless customer experience and support revenue growth.

  • Partner with Growth leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that improve performance and pipeline health.

  • Lead cross-functional programs, defining milestones, ownership, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.

  • Build and manage recurring operating cadences that provide clear visibility into performance, goals, trends, and next steps.

  • Analyze sales and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.

  • Partner with Business Systems and frontline leaders to evaluate, implement, and optimize go-to-market technologies and reporting.

  • Work with Enablement, Finance, Product, and go-to-market teams to align priorities and support growth initiatives.

  • Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while remaining open to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work. You use AI fluently and skeptically - fast where it helps, careful where it matters, and always the human in the loop on quality.

Who you are and what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations within a B2B SaaS or technology company required.

  • Deep expertise in the Growth tech stack, particularly Salesforce - configuration, reporting, dashboards, data governance, and process design.

  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills; you bring structure, rigor, and consistency to everything you touch.

  • Strong analytical chops and a habit of letting data drive decisions.

  • Clear, concise, and personable communicator who can build trust, influence stakeholders, and listen as well as you talk.

  • Intellectual honesty, accountability, and integrity. Trust is the foundation of effective partnership.

We are giving you:

  • Exceptional health packages, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance and short- and long-term disability benefits

  • A 401(k) plan with Buildertrend matching contributions to help you plan for the future

  • Generous paid time off, 11 paid holidays, plus personal days to make sure you have time to recharge

  • Parental leave and paid sabbaticals to support you during life's big moments

  • Volunteer time off - because giving back matters

  • Wellness program and onsite fitness center to keep you feeling your best

  • Opportunities for hybrid or remote work to give you the flexibility you need

  • Technology reimbursement to help cover costs for the tech you need to do your job from home

  • Free daily lunches when you're at our HQ office, plus monthly events to connect with your team
